- Customer stated the car started running rough then the check engine light and temperature lights came on. Vehicle towed in. Technician found the engine misfiring, one of the ignition coils shorted out internally and was smoking. Technician checked the cooling system and found no leaks. Recommend replacing the faulty ignition coil and test driving.
- Technician replaced the failed ignition coil, cleared faults, and test drove. No overheating, engine runs smooth.
- Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressure.
