- Inspect for theft damage and estimate repairs. Technician inspected the vehicle for damage, the key was stuck in the ignition. Technician inspected the ignition lock for damage and found none, but was able to manually release the key. Diagnosed the key interlock system and found a faulty shifter assembly. Recommend shifter assembly replacement.
- Replace faulty shifter assembly and verify ignition lock function.
