  • Drain and fill transmission fluid. Inspect transmission for leaks. Test drive and adjust fluid level. Technician test drove before and after fluid service, the transmission shifts better after servicing. The fluid was dark and looked normal. Technician noted there was "Tiptronic" faults stored in the computer and suspected a shifter problem. Recommend replacement of the upper section of the shifter that houses the Tiptronic switches.
